The curly haired man that you see in this video (Mr Myles Dyer) has been staying with me for the last three days, which has been a bit of a relief. I mean, you saw what happened last week as a result of not having anyone else in the house, I started wearing purple tights and calling myself a superhero. Being in the presence of another human really does help when it comes to sanity, and we’ve had a lot of stuff to keep ourselves occupied too … well, one thing to keep ourselves occupied really: Stickaid.
It’s all Myles has been focusing on for the last six weeks, and we’ve still got quite a bit more planning to do for it, regardless of the fact that it’s less than a week away. But hey, that’s what these events are always like! The team of people that have been brought together to organise the event are working their butts off, and are really doing an awesome job getting everything prepared -- some of the stuff that we have in the pipeline is really making me excited. I’ve wanted to take part in Stickaid with Myles ever since I first watched him do it four years ago, I had the opportunity to get involved on a small scale last year, but doing the entire thing with Myles by my side is something that I’m really looking forward to. I really hope you’ll join us for the ride :)
As I said in the video, the place to go for more information is http://stickaid2010.info, which is also one of the places that the live show is going to be broadcasted, alongside http://stickam.com/stickaid. If you’d like to help us promote the event, there’s a Facebook page, a Twitter thing, a YouTube one, and a Twibbon do-dad too. And of course, most importantly, we have a Justigiving page that you can donate to -- all of the money that we raise is going to the children’s charity Unicef. Bloody hell, that’s a lot of links. So, 12 noon on Saturday the 4th, for 24 hours, till 12 noon on Sunday the 5th, UK time. Be there or be square, yeah! Thanks bye.
